I've seen plenty of lowered guys using airbag suspensions to control ride height & stuff, but has anyone with a 4x4 ever converted to air bags to go from a normal height to raising up several inches above stock? Seems like it would be something that could be done, but I have no idea about that kinda stuff. Would the ride be smoother? Just wondering

it's possible if you know how to fabricate and get the right bags. i know land rovers do it so they can lower the ride height on the street/raise it off road.
mine are setup so its at stock height deflated and lifts the truck when inflated. when delfated ride is fine, pumped up it rides just like AAL, bumpier.
I see lifted bagged setups all the time. Never road in them. But from what I hear they ride pretty smooth. I might be getting some a friend offered to buy me a setup last night. but he was a little drunk so we will see hahaha... Infact here is an example of some bagged trucks A Friend's Truck Random truck at a Gun Show My Friend's truck
Hahaha LMAO... No (Well I cant for sure say that) he sells ammo and makes more money than he can spend so he spends it all... That truck was a $130,000 tax write off because its for his business.
Iv seen that truck in Kentucky at the machien gun shoot. I am 6' 2" and it makes me look tiny! Anyways as for the subject: Iv seen tons of 4x4s use air bags. Theyre fairly expensive tho.
