So my buddy and I were bored at work, we had all just eaten chinese food and came up with these.. First is the crossbow.. this things pretty bad ass.. it can stick an arrow into the cubicle wall, and I am sure the arrows we sharpened in the pencil sharpener would break skin.. haven't tested that to prove my thoughts, but I can tell you the blunt chop stics hurt to get hit with, even through jeans.. Then after a few weeks and some more trips to the local chinese resturants to gain some more lumber led to this: a trebuchet. The counter weight is a small bottle of tylenol loaded with staples.. we haven't perfected it yet but its still pretty bad ass..

They're surprisingly sturdy too.. the crossbow stared out as being held together w string and then we added a lot of elmers glue(and when I say a lot I mean like it was dripping) to all the connections.. the trebuchet is held together using superglue.. neither have broke yet and they both have 100+ shots out of them. The crossbow is probably up to 200+ now..
Lol thanks man! there is quite the fiasco due to the crossbow though.. someone shot an arrow accross the office and it stabbed into the drywall like 12 feet up and it went like 25 yards from my desk(where the crossbow is stored) to the spot of impact.. we don't know who did it, but they're gonna watch the camera and they'll figure it out.. I hope whoever it was don't get fired but managment was making a stink 'what if it woulda hit a computer monitor' or 'what if someone woulda got hit in the eye' yeah I agree, those are good thoughts but it didn't happen..
Yeah good intentions gone bad I guess.. It's a testament to the power of some chopsticks and some good old fashion american ingenuity..
Nah, they're all fresh unused sticks.. We grabbed like 5-10 extra packs each time we went.. There is probably like 12-15 packs between the two..
