Hello all! Iv been browsing the net and cant find a good answer to my question: Is the stepside bed and non-stepside bed the same on the inside? Why Im asking is because there is a used bed liner and tonneau cover on eBay as a package. But its on a stepside and I dont have the stepside. Will it fit?

no they are not the same. A step side is smaller.

a regular bed is something like 4-5 foot across and a stepside os something like 3 foot across....not sure of the exact measurments at the moment..... i know on a stepside you can lay a piece of plywood across the top and it will sit on the bedrails like a tonneau cover.... lol

You will need a standard bed liner, stepside liner will be too narrow, the widths are different

I just asked my gpa (which I shoulda done first lol) and he says the difference between them is on the step side, the wheel wells are on the outside and on a fleetside the wheel wells are on the inside. Good explanation grandpa!
