Well guys the old girl is going to the transmission shop tomorrow. I learned a very valuable lesson, never let your wife drive your truck Can't wait to get her fixed & back on the road again.

I've got an issue hopefully you guys can help me with. My 2002 Ranger has the 4.0L engine with a automatic transmission & its 4wd. Yesterday the drive & reverse gears went out of it. I still have low & second gear, & it will shift into drive when the pressure builds up enough, but it won't start...

Thanks Tony! I put on a Truxedo replacement. The old one started to rot. A replacement only cost $140. I'll try to post a pic of it in a couple of days

Yes the pass side is sold as "1" piece, but consists of 2 pieces. The drivers side is actually a 1 piece. I picked mine up at Oreiley Autoparts, & used the Moog brand

The drivers side upper is different than the passenger side upper. The drivers side is a 1 piece design & the pass side is a 2 piece design. You will be able to see this when you look under your truck. They should also ask you this when you're getting your parts. It's very easy to tell them apart.
