Given that I am looking for 5x114.3 for my 2011 Sport 4x4...

Are there any bizarre considerations such as offset or concentric hub bores or any other vehicle-specific factors that I should watch for in my search for 17" winter steelies? (I have a shot at a set from a recent model Ford Flex that seem too good to pass up.)

And while I have you on the 'phone...

Will I be satisfied with Cooper Discoverer M + S for winter only? Are they actual winter tires? or A/S? Do I care? (My main goal is to keep the road salt off the alloys)

Oh - and will I create any problems for myself if I omit the TPMS sensors in the winter steelies?

    Thanks!

5x114.3 is the same as 5x4.5 TPMS - just the light should come on, I don't think it will do anything else.
