Thinking about trading my truck for this one??? Your opinion!!

So I may be trading my truck for this truck. It's a 1998 Ford Ranger 4.0 with a 3 inch bl and 31's. OHC Explorer seats and shorty console, Mossy oak headliner 5 speed ext cab. Oh it also has explorer leaf springs in the back as well.

I myself prefer lifted trucks but as I've told you, yours is one of the few lowered trucks I do like..

I like it lifted instead of lowered because you can actually haul things

I don't think you should do it. I think your truck is way more bad ass than that one. There isn't really anything all that special about that truck. Maybe if it had a suspension lift or a 5.0

It's got the 01 conversion on it. 97 and before had the TTB suspension, not torsion bars

Wow I didn't know a lot of pepople like my truck. I thought everyone would be telling me to buy a lifted one. I can't buy this one flat out. I don't have that kind of money!!! I wish I did.

Thanks man, that means a lot. So after talking to you guys and driving my truck to lunch just now, I don't wanna trade my truck.I have a lot of time and money and personal value invested in my truck. I made my truck what it is today with the help of you guys. I just don't know if I can give my truck away. I've had it for 7 in a half years.

Explorer buckets? There's really not too much to offer around my way as far as 01+ trucks without paying an arm and a leg.

Explorer seats won't fit in a single cab cause the tracks are longer than the single cab.

Ah, that sucks... Could always do what Brad did and bolt Dakota seats onto 2x4s and put them in. I'd say go to a jy and find an 04+ Ranger single cab and try to get the black/gray seats

I'd suggest getting '06 + seats since many people claim the 04-05 although same in look are too firm and that the 06+ had better padding.
