Wire runnin across front passenger seat

Hey Guys, first post.

I got a wire that runs under the dash on the passenger side that just popped out. I have no idea what it does other than the car runs fine, even though it's unplugged. I guess my 6 changer cd player is kinda running funky, it just won't eject a disc. Related?

see where it leads to, you can take out your radio with the bezel and you can see behind it.
