which should i get

so ive been thinking of what i want for christmas and i cant decide rife or compound bow, and if a rife it cant be something too big and pointless something useful, for a multy perpuse of animals in maine, and for a bow well you know compond bow nothing much to say there, and i had to sell my .22 a few years ago and miss it and i do have a long bow, so what you guys think, and cant be more then $300

Unless its an assault rifle there isn't really anything you can do custom wise.
