Na, don't need 2 extra wheels & tires to replace, and its PERFECT for me as it is.
I can tell ya that its spoiled me to flatbeds, I can haul anythin I want & then some with a lil' bit of enginuity, as my Son found out a few weeks ago when he wanted to haul the junk from his kitchen remodel, used a few bedliner tailgate pieces to make it work:
