I know that the timing is not user changable, but does anyone know what the timing should read on a properly running 4 cyl engine. My truck runs bad and sounds and acts like timing. The ford dealer wants me to drop it off along with my wallet to find the prob.. I got this truck this way. It was cheap. This is a 1998 mod..
