the car world lost a legend

    the car world lost a legend last night....

    Carroll Shelby passed away last night due to complications stemming from pneumonia.... he was 89.....

    That's too bad but he had a long interesting life. May his legend live on.

    Just saw it on the news.
    He was one of the longest living heart transplant recipients.
    They don't make 'em like him anymore.

    Late step-sister's husband bought one new in 1967. It was an awesome ride.

    interesting for sure. sports illustrated had a write up on him. he definitely wasn't afraid to try anything. it said he ran a chicken farm for awhile when he was younger and when that failed decided to go into racing haha
