seat's for 93'

Just bought a 93 ranger extended cab 4x4 previous owner took out the
bucket seats & put in a junk split bench.I do have the original bucket seats but no counsel.
my question is will a split bench from a 98 extended cab fit in my 93 or where
can I find a counsel in good shape?

I personally would do the console. I grab them at yards from time to time, and you can also swap in a full length explorer console.

does it matter what year for the ranger or explorer counsel's

Best bet is 95-03 explorers, and all year rangers and even the mazda pickups for shorty consoles. I always try to get the newest ones possible
