I have 97 ranger and I just built a flatbed for it and were the 4x4 post is for support is above my tire and when I put a little weight on it the post rubs my tire and the shocks I have on there now are wore out so if I put new ones on there would that help or should I put air ones so I can adjust the height

Not a fat chance in hell that would help.
