rear brake shoes

my 96 ranger came with rivited brake shoes. they lasted a long time. i have had a problem with Chinese brake lining !! need help finding shoes made in USA or UK. mexico or any other country. vin p.s. on the net, I found a California firm that still manufactures brake shows - $45 on a 9 inch drum.

Take a look at Akebono - they claim to be made 100% in the United States. Myself, I have not tried them but in my 1991 Ranger 4X4 rebuild I think I'm going to give them a try.
