What about interior accent paint codes.

I am still trying to locate the 2003 FX4 Lvl II silver accent paint code, the one used on the Radio Bezel.

No one i have talked to, some own FX4 Lvl IIs, has a paint code for accent parts.
 
I have never come across interior accent paint codes. I was akways under the assumption it is the plastics color, not paint. The parts that arent plastic have a sort of rubberized coating on them. Have you talked to any dealers about it?
 
I did talk to a dealer.
Gave then two different VINs, one for an FX4 Lvl II and one for my truck, hoping to find the color.

At the time I started this project Ford Parts Houses could have come up with a new Bezel but not sure now.
All I really want is the color nothing more.
Shawn was saying that Ford used to call the silver, Argent, now I have a new angle to look up.

Wow....I will look into it as well. It's hard to believe if its factory paint, no one knows what it is lol
 
It could be just me and how I am presenting it to the part guy.

I gave him a VIN from an 03 FX4 Lvl II but no luck.

One other thing, I thought “E4-Red” for ’03 is Bright Red like my truck ?
 
Yeah dealers have a hard time with going to the MOD end of things. They know basic OEM work and colors. The codings can get difficult, It took me a few years to find mine was a red metallic torreador color lol
 
The Argent Color, that Shane mentioned to me is interesting.
So far the color looks close but it is only mentioned for Wheel use no one can pin point other uses.
I have contacted two paint companies about it and no reply so far but still working on it.
 
Just contacted these guys "http://www.automotivetouchup.com/choosecolor/year.aspx” asking about the infamous “FX4 LVL II, Silver Radio Bezel Silver Color”. Hoping they might fill the inside straight on where to get it !
