Bad thing about the Ranger, once production stopped, so did parts manufacture.
Normally, parts continue to be made and offered for 10 years after production of a vehicle ceases, but Ford just completely stopped everything, all at once.
It was such an odd move, that it actually made the national news that year.
If your dealer can't locate a part, your only other choice is the aftermarket. However, if you find a part and are not comfortable installing it, the dealer should still offer to install it.
At that point, they're only another garage. Actually, any shop you feel comfortable with should be able to R&R any replacement part.
