I have a 1978 Ford F-100 Ranger. Where do I go for info?

wow bud thanks!
depends on what kind of info. I was the proud owner of a 67 f-100 ranger a few years ago.
I was looking for lower info, fuel tank capacity. I have a step side and most of the books show 19.2 gal. but, my tank is not that big. I think it might be a 12 gal. It has a 351M and I'm going through a 1/4 tank in about 20-30 miles. I think I calculated 10.7 miles per gal.
thats about right for a 351m. Thats a 351 in the 400 block. Its a slow torque monster that drinks fuel. Stroke on that beast is like 7" or something.
They basically took the crank from the small block windsor and "de-stroked" it to put in the 400 block. That motor is a work horse. Should be left for farm work.
I had the 352 FE in mine. Thing got about 7 mpg. But had insane hp and torque numbers.
Sorry about that. It was supposed to be a link to ford-trucks.com. They have some great info.
Okay. Thank you. I'll check that one out.
Yeah, I'm hoping down the road, I can get alittle more out of it.
Welcome to the forums! Got any pics of the truck?
Yeah, but cant post from here. They have photobucket blocked. I'll do it tonight when I get home.
Your getting some mpg numbers about like my 460 lol
I'll have to get a couple more recent shots for y'all. I've got new tires and the bumpers on it now.
Wow thats pretty sharp! Better lookin than mine lol
