more seat help plz?????

    i am the guy with the 1998 ford ranger xlt ext cab. i need seats. you all have been awesome helping, especially mhoward.

    next question, will 1998 ford mustang seats bolt right in? i am not interested in doing any fabrication. being lazy. wanna straingt installation, ez peasy

    Hey there Bob! I can't find anything about 1998 Mustang seats, so I can't say if they will fit or not. As a guess, I am thinking probably not. If you have access to them, I would take some measurements and pictures and do a comparison.

    Bob,

    If your truck has a bench seat, the Mustang bucket seats will only bolt on in 3 places inistead of the normal 4. You can drill the body and use a bolt to secure down that part, but it may not seem necessary....that is, IF the Mustang seats will work in the first place.

    Recovering your current seats not an option?

    I think we figured out it was a fairly inexpensive way to go.

    Bob, I saw on my home forum that Mustang seats will work... BUT, you have to replace the tracks with tracks from a 1998 Explorer. I have no way to verify this, but that is what I read. Hope this helps!
