LED Tailights Question

Hey guys! Im a bright light sorta guy. I love seeing semis in the dead of night rollin down the road with their endless amount of clearance lights lightin up the night. This is how I want my Ranger to look someday!

One thing I want to get for my Ranger is some LED tails. They DO make em but theyre FUGLY! I hate how you can see every LED. I want some that are "low-pro" as in they look stock til you hit the brakes and light up the night. I have yet to see this type of tail light.... I see a Buggman project! Lol :thumbup:

do what morgan did, he got some and nightshaded them till they were black, so you couldnt see em untill they were on, or do what i did and get led tail bulbs in stock housing,

You're not going to be able to find any that you can't see the lights because the housings are so clear on them. Like Maine said, niteshade works well.

yes but the back up is slightly different i believe thats 3156

Yea theyre not pulling up anything that says 4157 on Ebay lol. They have 31 LED tails for a few bucks! If Buggman cant do it, im definitly gonna get some!

i have some cheap 12 bulbs in my tails and they are quite brighter then stock bulbs

4157, 3457, 3157 all should be the exact same bulb... my front turn signals called for 3457's & I've been using orange 3157's since I got my clear corners.

3156, 3456, 4156, etc all should be the same too, single element bulbs.

The 24, 36, etc led's usually don't put out the best light, I've tried dozens of reverse/brake/turn led's... the brightest ones I've found have 120smd led's but I can only find them in white... but they're darn bright.

My vid should have my old 63 red brake/turn led's & 63 white reverse lights... it's been a while & I need to do a new video with my 120 white led's.
