ya i found out that jba performance makes them for every ranger. supposedly adds 22hp.

Yeah man, jba are good, or hookers also. I'm thinking putting a set on my 4.0 to (hopefully) make it a bit louder. Plus headers also increase exhaust flow just like dual exhaust or even just a cat back. If you had both headers and an exhaust system your engine would work 10x better getting awesome exhaust flow instead of being all cramped up inside the engine.

In regard to my earlier comment, the only thing wrong I see with headers, is messing with different sensors that might be somewhat messed up if headers are added. Plus everytime you change your oil in the truck, I highly recommend going back and making sure the header bolts are still snug.
