Have a 91 Ford Ranger XLT. Completely rebuilt engine 3.0 V6, rebuilt transmission (30,000 miles ago) It's gutless. Have to jam the excelerator down to shift to the next gear to get up a long hill. Would changing the fuel pump help? (The gauge doesn't work so i need to do it anyways) or would replacing the injectors help? The body had 375k on it so i was thinking maybe the injectors or fuel pump. What else is left??? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Tom

    Fuel filter

I already replaced it so it's not the filter. I figure all the stuff needs to be replaced so i am doing the process of elimination... Keep the suggestions coming!!!!!! Thanks All

375k that explains it then. Im not genious on mechanics, but with that many miles alot of things could be in effect I would think
