I traded off one of my AutoGlym HD waxes for a bottle of Collinite 845 Insulator Wax that I seen on another forum. Many have probably never heard of them since they dont advertise but rely on word of mouth and focus their monies on making better products instead of better commercials.

This was is considered a liquid paste wax and has high amounts of carnauba in it. Its very thick when you get it and you must shake the bejesus out it. I actually left mine out in the sun while I was cleaning up the above vehicle and shook it when I was ready. The sun thinned it for me :D

Anyways, a LITTLE of this wax goes a LONG ways! you have to apply THIN, it even says on the bottle. I used my DA with a finishing pad to apply it and I could not have asked for an easier application!!! It went on butter smooth and come off pretty darn easy as long as it was hazed up good. You want to apply it in the shade if possible, the hotter the surface, the longer it takes to cure and the cooler the surface the faster it cures, so you want it just right!!

On the car above I:

1) washed
2) dried
3) compounded with M105 Ultra Cut on a 6 1/2" Meguiar's polishing pad
4) polished with Meguiar's #7 Showcar Glaze Pure Polish on a Meguiar's 6 1/2" finishing pad
5)Sealed with the LSP Collinite 845 Collinite Wax on a 6 1/2" Meguiar's finishing pad

rinsed compound and polish dust off and then dried again and wiped down with Meguiar's Quick Detailer.

The wax put out the best shine that I have ever seen coupled with the freshly compounded and polished surface. And as you can see in the video, the water beaded and rolled off of the surface IMO better than AutoGlym, Meguiar's (cleaner wax, ultimate, or NXT).

Thanks for sharing Scott! I've been using Meguiar's Ultimate paste carnauba wax. That stuff is great IMO. But I am starting to run a little low (had can of paste for a little over 1 1/2 years with an application of about every to every other month), and I am looking for a replacement. This may just be it!

IF you get this, you get a pint of it! and you have to apply very thin, even says on the bottle. a very little of this goes a long way. Once application to my buffer pad done half the car i buffed last weekend! It has a lot of wax in it, so when you get it, it may be very thick, just shake it really good, set bottle in pot of hot water or set out in the sun to think it out. then shake really good. I absolutely loved the wax
