im doin a lift on a 1996 ranger and i found out i need longer brake lines... ive heard that ford f250 brake lines will work... do you guys knowing anything bout that? if so wat year model?
??? What kind of lift is this? never heard anything like that before. And If you do in fact need longer break lines you just buy a longer break line and bend it if needed. Going as far as F250 brake lines is just making my head hurt. A brake line is a brake line different sizes and lengths.
its a rough country 4 inch lift with 2 inch leveling kit... the front rubber brake lines are too short now.... i heard that i can replace the stock ones with f250 ones which will be longer
Yes, you will need longer brake hoses. 80-96 F150 or F250 stock lines will work or you can relocate your stock brake hose to the other side of the coil spring bucket.
You can also look into stainless steel braided brake hoses which will never rot out like the rubber ones do and they will never break. You can get them online anywhere. Look them up under a Jeep cherokee application. There's a lot more available for them instead of the ranger. They are the same thing though. Good luck and post pics of the truck after the lifts done! :thumbup1:
