hey guys im new to the forum but was hoping i could get some help i purchased a 3inch body lift off a private seller for my 94 ranger and he had no idea what it was for but i had the blocks and bolts, the bed is currently lifted but for the cab i was wondering if i actually need a steering extender.... my buddy lifted his 89 ranger with 2 inch body and he said he didnt need the extender im sort of confused some help would be greatly apprciated thank you

Yeah you need the steering extension on that I believe. Some vehicles had a telescoping steering arm but I do t think yours will have that so the extension is necessary

Have you checked on summitracing.com you can click on body lift components and order parts of the lift insteady of a whole new kit.

Yes, you definatly need it....where are you located, i have to get one aswell and there is a place near me that can get them. If you want the info i can give it to you and they can probably ship it to ya. You want the info?

thank you so much guys lol i finally found one on summit i literally spent saturday night from 3 to 5:30 looking for one lol

Yeah the 2inch body lift is an exception to not needing an extension but with the 3" its needed. Good to hear you found one.

wow 54 bucks pretty steep for just that extension, but they know they got ya by the gonads

yeah i wasnt expecting to dump that much in a simple piece lol.. i only paid 50 bucks for the whole thing.. but gota do what you gota do i suppose
