Body Lift or no?

I been contemplating this for a long time and I need to be bigger. I like the look of the body lift alot considering the price difference from a suspension lift. So should I buy a body lift? And what all do I need? New bumper brackets, shifter extension, fuel pump extender. Anything else? And where is a good place to buy one that would have everything included?

  3. Body lift kits include everything you need as far as bumper relocation brackets and steering extensions. I say go for it. You won't need a fuel pump extender or anything because it should be on the frame, and your engine will stay at stock height. As for where to get them, not absolutely positive. I know LMC Truck sells em. Performance Accessories is your best bet out tthere. And if your truck is a manual trans, you may have to make an extender for it. I know some guys have had problems with that before.

Do the body lift, cheaper than a suspension lift and the parts accessories kit comes with everything you need. Check them out on
  5. I thought Summit had em... Just wasn't sure lol Good to know for future reference.

Can't wait to get this only 2 months till I buy it and install. As far as the shift extender what would you do? This is gonna sound redneck as hell but would a threaded peice of conduit work and then just put a black sleeve over it? Lol
  7. Hey. I am a redneck. lol But I have an automatic. If you search it up in the search bar, I believe 08 Sport 4x4 or close to that username did something on it.

  9. Well take a look at my pics under my profile. I have the same size with the body lift. They don't look that bad.

I have to admit. I used to hate body lifts. I have one on my truck though and I love it. The subtle touches of hiding the gaps really makes it look sharp.

I'm getting ready to get one myself freeman. And the shifter extension you could probably make a piece of threaded pipe work but the extension isn't threaded. What it does it bolts on the stock shifter linkage and the. The shift handle bolts to it like its bolted to the stock linkage.
  14. Yes, you definitely should!

And definitely get these. I don't have em and my truck looks naked. Haha
