I will go ahead and get this out of the way so all you bowtie haters can have your fun. But it is relative to the discussion. My prior baby truck was a '99 S10 4.3 and chock full of mods. It was a nice truck and I've no complaints really. One of the mods was an Airaid (spelling?) Cold Air Fuel Injection Kit that nixed the stock air intake for a stainless tube and larger cone filter.
Trust me on this. I could feel and hear the difference. Maybe this was due to the fact that the exhaust system had been modified to let out what came in.
My current baby truck is an '04 Ranger 3.0 and it .... well to be honest ... really lacks the power. So before I go throwing about three Benjamins on a kit, I wanted to see if anyone has dared this mod and if they feel it is worth the coin.
