I just inherited my fathers 02 ranger and the airbag light is on and wont go off even when I turn on or off the PAD switch

M madmax327 New Member Nov 21, 2009 #5 I finally got time to check it out and under the passenger side seat was the wire that went to the seat belt I unplugged it and plugged it back in and the light is now off! you may have to clean yours with something (WD-40)!
