K krauser New Member Sep 5, 2014 #1 I have a 89 ranger with a 2.3 it runs great but theres a hose that come off the right side of the block near the oil filter and it leads to nothing and blows out some oil when running. If you know what it is please let me know need help!!

DeanMk Member Sep 19, 2014 #2 Sounds like a breather pipe. Is it connected to the valve cover? Could be the PCV. Last edited: Sep 19, 2014
