So the other day I was working on my gf's 01 mercury sable and was wondering if the 3.0L in her car was the same block and heads that are in my 93 3.0L ranger. It looks like the intake and some odds and ends are different. And how different are the 4.0L from the 3.0L. Like chevy, the 2.8, 3.1, and the 3.8 all shared the same block.....so did ford do that for their V6's? Just wondering so if anyone could give me a hand id apprieciate it.
