Hi, New to the forum and i am looking for some good advice! I have 2 Ranger one is a 2003 with under 100thous km that has a cracked frame way past the point of repair and i also have a 1998 Ranger in great shape very little rust but lots of miles. I want to swap the 2003 manual into the older 1998 auto as the 1998 is getting a bit tired and i would love a manual. it looks very straight forward! swap peddels and clutch master, computers, cut holes for shifter, rewire revers lights, jump the ground on the shifter column shifter! i do see some differences in the 2 engines but over all it looks like i could make it work! is there anything im over looking anything i need to know? I do this type of work for a living on land rovers but i don't have the same type of in depth knowledge of rangers! Any input would be great!
