1994 STX Ext cab 20 gallon fuel tank

Hello all,
I have a 1994 4.0 auto trans ext cab stx. It has a plastic fuel tank in it and the fuel pump/sending unit ring on the tank has rusted out. Not the lock ring itself but, the ring bonded to the plastic tank. I cant for the life of me find a replacement tank for this truck. Any suggestions would be awesome. Thanks, in advance.

Have you found one? I'm needing one for my '94 STX regular cab.

No. I can't find one anywhere! I've found the previous generation, and the following generation. Nothing 93-96. It has been suggested to me to drill holes, epoxy some bolts sticking up and use nuts and large washers in a ring around the sending unit to fasten it down. I haven't had the guts to try that yet. Please let me know if you find someone who makes them. I'm going to try to nurse mine along until spring. I have a couple of pretty good "U-Pick" salvage yards near me and I'll try to find a good used one them.
