Gomez66 New Member Jul 28, 2019 #1 When I switch to 4 wheel hi sometimes it does not engage. I have to keep switching to 4 lo and 2WD drive to get it to engage. I can hear the clicking. Sometimes after putting in neutral to reverse seems to help. Any ideas?

RangerAl Member Jan 4, 2021 #2 98-00 Rangers, uses vacuum pulse. You may have vacuum leak to the hub or the transfer case motor is going out.
