    Interior is almost done.

What are you doing to the A-Pillar, you said “to try a mod” ? The rear carpeted panel has to help with cab noise, if/when you take it apart add some sound deadening material to the rear wall, that helps a lot. I still need to drop the roof interior panel and add some sound deadening material to...

Browning13, How’s this going ? I probably won’t get to my audio system until I have finished the move or a good fall day but want to hear how this is going ?

    RE-Gear Finally !

It looked good but needed it so got some of the nickel/steel. Hope it doesn’t rust before I leave the Northeast. Will have time/date for installing front gears (and alignment hardware) and LvL II Rear Axle today, hoping for next week to start driving or is that enjoying driving the Ranger...

Made an offer on a new place - Temecula, CA !

Well got the last outside project done on the house. Starting the inside, only two things to do, rebuild the spiral stairs and ceilings on the first level. NEXT !

    RE-Gear Finally !

Got the front gears and the Ox Locker Cable. S/S Brake Lines are hard to find in this area and I did not want to buy on-line. Local Auto Store has some shielded Brake line, suppose to not rust, going with it hoping for the best; but then again the dry weather of the southwest should be easier on...

What engine should I put in my 91 ranger

Not sure if you have done anything yet but here is some thoughts. IMHO there is only one motor that has been tested and true for the fit in a Ranger and it is the FORD 302/5.0L. Performance options for this motor are many, anything you want it is out there. There are all kind of kit and...

    Favorite wiper blades?

A little late… Rain-X or Trico (spelling) make single beam, silicone wipers. My last set of Trico lasted three years and my new set wipe incredible. I would say that if you purchase any single beam type wiper made from a silicone based material they should work better than any of the other...

I have another idea aobut the Classified Section !

I was thinking of posting another ad and thought of the talk that goes on in the Classified’s that does nothing except hurts the sale. I decided I wouldn’t post up on this or any Ranger Site because of it but then I thought I would attempt to change this Forum to something that does not allow...

    10 inch subs?

My thought is a 10" behind the seats centered. Smaller wedge type, purchased enclosure. Small amp based on speaker selection. Buying from Sonic Electronics... I am no audiophile, just want a little bass to balance things out.

    RE-Gear Finally !

Was looking for S/S Hard Brake LInes and found something I have never seen before… Cooper/Nickel Hard Brake Lines. They claim easy to bend because of the copper and strong as steel because of the nickel. A little more expensive, anyone try this product yet ?

New guy with a dead '03 Ranger

Have you considered an Explorer 5.0L V8 ? If you get a good vehicle to start, it is a bolt in and from what I have read it is an easy wire-up. i know it isn’t a 2.3 but you would have a really nice truck when done, plenty of power if and when needed and to me a less finicky motor. I had a 2.3...

    RE-Gear Finally !

Was thinking of doing a Disc Brake change over but now thinking the drums worked ok up till now so why worry, just do a complete brake job with all new parts.

    To weld or to replace?

I was talking to Throttle Down Customs (TDC) about a replacement Ranger Frame an d possible mods to it but other than the first few messages I haven’t heard from them. My guess is no go on a new HD Frame for the Ranger. Frame replacement depending on the amount of rust and work required to fix...
