You can have everything all proper and if you don't use the Ford clutch fan removal tool, the water pump pulley will just spin under the belt. So you solved nothing.

All adjustments that are there from the factory....are still there... Cut-off height spec is suggested at 2.5" drop @ 25' if memory serves me correctly. I feel on my truck, 2" drop @ 25' is far better.
