Vacuum leak sounds possible, try takin either carb cleaner or a propane torch(unlight lol) and run them around all the vacuum lines.. that's how I figured out where my leak was in my old BMW..

So I found out that I have a donor truck. My old man has a 99 Ranger that the motor & trans are shot. Body isn't in the best shape but frame was great when I looked earlier in the summer.. Would I be better off to swap motor and trans from my truch to his, or just do the frame repairs?

That is how mine is, if you look at the pic you see the spring hanger, well right next to that(between it an the crack) you see where the two pieces are put together..

Yeah, but the wife has an 07 with a payment and full coverage insurance and she's 9 months pregnant so she's not working right now so my income is all we have currently.. But we'll see what I can figure out..
