I thought the 3.0 throttle body's outside diameter was the same as the 4.0 but can't say for sure....if you buy one and it would happen to be slightly on the small side you could use foam tape on the outside of the throttle body and just tighten it down with hose clamp.

Its been awhile since I had a D35 TTB, but I'm sitting here thinking, isn't there a u joint within the right side axle shaft? I'm pretty sure of this and if I'm remembering right this could be causing your problem.

Yeah they're pretty good truck built suv's, I take the 95 off-road and does great.

If you're looking at getting an older one for offroad play I would look into an early 90's that has the Dana 35 under it because it does have more strength than the Dana 28.

Yeah, I had one on a truck before and when you took it off road sometimes branches would get stuck and break off in it. But thats because mostly here in Pa any trails you go to is in the woods.
