I too recommend keeping the 4.10 axle ratio, are aiming to have lower RPMs at highway speed or what is the reasoning behind wanting to change axle ratio? If its a must I would say go with 3.73. And you should have a 28 spline axle.

Yeah the 2inch body lift is an exception to not needing an extension but with the 3" its needed. Good to hear you found one.

Well Ford also this year completely dropped the Crown Victoria and changed the explorer into might as well say awd car. Have no idea what the "masterminds" at Ford are thinking....Rangers are awesome small pickups...
