lol... a bad crank???? i dont think so.... i agree with sea jack... i would just go to autozone and pick one up... you could go to a junk yard and pick up a couple intill you find out the problem...with it starting

so is this truck 2wd.... so couldnt you just get a stock set of a 4wd ranger... theres plenty of shocks out there... on my chevys i usually ran the rancho rs9000s they have the adjustments on the shock... i dont think they were as pricey as the bilsteins Welcome to the forum man... post some...

im almost positive if you look at the mounts you will see the diff... but you could make one of those work pretty easy... we had another problem with the shifter...but anything is possible.... its just how bad you want it ;)... Keep us posted man

sounds like the slave cylinder......... these things usually fail in the winter... if im not mistaken.. i think its mounted in side the bellhousing

i would put a mechanical gauge on it to see if it is actually loseing oil pressure.... if its not... i would say the oil sending unit is bad... you could just pick up a new sending unit... there only around 15 bucks

is it showing any check engine lights.... how old is the plugs and wires... and fuel filter... how many miles

i would take it to autozone and have them read the transmission codes... and any possible engine codes... they should check them for free... probably a shift solenoid

back about 10 years ago i tried this... and had some trouble.. i do remember there was a proble with the mount... i dont remember what all was different.. but i worked on it for about 2 weeksn laying in the snow.. and end up just selling it.. ...

you should look into a power programmer

whats it do ...does it shut down... i thought the rangers were limited at 99... have you thought about a programmer or somethinge like that.. that would raise your limiter... and they still can do a sniffer test.. exspecially if it looks like its been messed with

do you have inspections there... becouse if so .. it wont pass an sniffer inspection...
