My 2002 is the first Ranger I`ve owned and I think the 4.0 is great for power and gas mileage . It`s like new with only 35,950 miles on it . I like the MPG I took it for a 125 mile hiway run used 6 gal of gas,,cruized at 65 mph with the ac running part of the time and got 20.8 mpg .I was impressed.

After reading this on Sat , my door ajar was lit ,so I sprayed silicone lub into it and It worked .Thanks for the tip.

My jeep`s transfercase is that way , you put it in 4x4 position and it`s in , but an after market replacement bearing and spindal is available so you can have manual lock or unlock hubs , the only bad part is you have to change to the 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern . My 1990 Toyota with IFS front end...

Would that work for getting a neutral on a2002 auto to make it towable behind a motorhome .
