    po1401 code

    My code book says the P01401 is for the DPFE stuff. My 02 F150 has that and there was alot of problems with that sensor. $60.00 and two minutes to change.

    Tranny/Clutch issues

    Follow the clutch hyd line to the slave cylinder. Should be a bleeder fitting to do the trick. Open the fitting and let gravity do the rest.

    Bolt on battery terminals are a disaster waiting to happen. Do yourself a favor and replace cables with Ford OEM. You've experienced the shortfalls of that terminal once. Its your choice.

    Fuel filter removal

    Am assuming the quick disconnect is of the full garter spring type. I find myself as I am pulling on the fuel line I tend to pull on the tool also. Not good, push the tool toward the line as you pull on the fuel line away from the filter. We have to keep the tool pressed against the beading...

    Where do you live? What do you do?

    Depending on fishing and wind reports, Henderson or Searchlight Nv. Put out to pasture last November. Heading to Searchlight in an hour, if wind is favorable, will be fishing in 3 hours.

    TTB axle shaft

    Say again the location of the noise, front or back, right side or left? As I ask that, its probably the front because of selecting 4WD. Still try to determine right, left or the middle. Am thinking an axle gear to axle shaft or axle shaft to hub. Splines stripped and jumping.
