    Western Ohio area

Nice, we should get in on that again if they're doing it, or just meet up on our own. I live in Dayton, and every Friday night during the summer there's a cruise-in of at least 100 cars. On a nice night its more like 200-300

    Western Ohio area

Hey guys, I'm pretty new here on the forum, saw a bunch of Focus / Ranger pictures posted up from an Ohio meet last year, is anyone in the Western Ohio / Indiana / Kentucky area that would want to try and meet up somewhere once the weather got warmer?

    E-brake non-op

Thanks for all the info guys, guess I know what my new spring mod is going to be once I get a little cash and it warms up! Right now the wind chill this morning is around 8 degrees!

    E-brake non-op

Didn't know if they mounted up the same or if I needed to fab brackets for the shocks & leaf springs. Will the master cyl work for disc brakes in the back or do I need to upgrade it to an explorers?

    E-brake non-op

Hm, is there a DIY info on swapping to an 8.8? I'd love to have a posi rear end & disc brakes. mmmmm no more one-wheel-wonders lol.

    E-brake non-op

Haha thanks for the .02. I used to have a group of friends out where I live who used to hang and work on cars, and since then they've either gotten arrested, f'd off somewhere else, or just disappeared. So I have no one to chat cars with, so I appreciate the help. I'm the only one in my town...

    E-brake non-op

I think the setup inside of the drums is shot too, I am debating if I even have rear brakes at the moment. Unfortunately my jack & jack stands were stolen this fall so I haven't been able to jack it up and see whats going on

    E-brake non-op

Alright guys, just as the title says, my e-brake has been non-op since this past summer, the cable is sagging a couple inches lower than it normally should be. Once the weather gets a bit warmer (lovely Ohio weather) I'm planning on redoing the rear brakes (im betting they are more than shot)...

    Intake Manifold Porting

Has anyone had any success porting out the Intake manifold? I can get one cheaply from a pick-and-pull around here and I've contemplated getting someone to machine it out, smooth it down, and port match the head better. Has anyone gone into modding their IM? Any thoughts? I have a new ('10)...

    idler pulley slop

I just had the bearing on my idler pulley go out a couple weeks ago, the new one I put on is very solid, no slop at all. The old one had a good 1/8th inch of play and at high RPM sounded quite loud, the new one is super quiet. I have no front/back play either, make sure everything is snug and tight

I have those lousy floppy mirrors on my truck too and have been looking to change them out, still kinda on the edge with the +06 mirrors, what kind of modding is req'd to get them to fit?

I put bucket seats from a GMC bus in my ranger, pretty comfy and look good. I'm lookin for a center console to throw in there too, i'm curious what you're thinking of putting in yours and who knows exactly what fits in there

    low volts/battery light

My battery light is on all the time, but thats because of a busted clip on my alternator, the indicator wire likes to vibrate loose. I have an aftermarket voltmeter on my pillar to confirm direct battery voltage vs what the gauge on the dash shows

Yeah looks like there aren't really too many dropped rangers anywhere. There are 2 (besides me) out in western Ohio that are daily drivers
