Yep, like Brinker said, the multi-function switch is bad/ dirty. Hope its just dirty because they are not cheap to replace.

No, everything went rather smoothly. My truck only had around 30,000 on it when I lifted it so all the bolts came out easily and there was no rust on the parts. If yours has a few miles on it I would start soaking the bolts that will need to be removed with PB blaster a week or so before you do...

Depends on your skill level really. There is a little welding involved but other than that its pretty straight forward.

Im not sure how that would be possible, seems pretty unlikely to me but its better safe than sorry I guess. Mine let go when I was in low range at full throttle pulling a hill in the sand. It wore the crossmember a bit where the pinion yoke rubbed on it but was un damaged otherwise.

No. It let the differential twist down so the pinion u-joint hit the cross member and it made a bunch of noise but nothing else broke.

No problem! Yeah I would do it before, its bound t break and it will do it at the worst time.

It appears that everything is there, even the fasteners and CV spacers that seem to go missing.

This is what I did with my "triangle piece" otherwise known as the differential support bracket. Mine broke this summer at the dunes, I plated it with a 3/16" plate to reinforce it.

Nice man, I like it. You might be surprised how quickly that 3/16's 1018 will add up weight wise though.

I would ditch the blocks too. A combination of shackles and AAl's will get you the same results in lift but will perform better than blocks.
