    Pet and Animal Thread

Well, the beagle pictured above is a connoisseur of fine chewing products. She loves these: She also loves an occasional pig ear chewy from our local Rural King when we take her there. She enjoys a wide variety of treats, both soft and chewy.

    Floor Pan Replacement

Hello Lew and welcome to the forum! I see what you mean, everything I came up with was for the 1983 to 1992 models. I would have to assume that they aren't even close to the 2000 model. Your only recourse may be the hand-formed sheet steel approach. :(

Transmisson No Reverse And No Drive

Sounds like you may have to have it rebuilt. A used trans would be a gamble anyway and that's a lot of work swapping it out.

    3.0 Misfire

Some of them never saw "top end", since most of the roads didn't have enough straight pavement to get them there.

    3.0 Misfire

Not trying to be "Mr. Know-it-all" here, but most memorable of the old Y blocks from the 1950's and early 1960's were 292 cubic inches. The "Thunderbird Special" used the same block, but was a larger bore and stroke yielding 312 cubic inches. Loved those old engines; they had a sound all their...

    Lost keys

I'm based in Evansville, Indiana. Crappy-a$$ed place to live. It's cold in the winter, hot and HUMID in the summer. My wife calls it "Satan's Taint". LOL

    New here seat question

Not 100% sure, but the 1992 seat may fit without changing the tracks. Welcome to the forum, BTW!

    Factory manual

I have the DVD service manuals for 1996-1999 and 2000-2004. Unfortunately, they don't include the EVTM (Electric/Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual). I have my eye on one on eBay. :)

    Lost keys

No, not all of them did. I am assuming you have power door locks, just no FOB (mine was that way also). The following is the programming procedure to program new FOBs. It will tell you if you have keyless entry available: 1. Close all doors, then open your driver side door and press the...

    "A" pillar vent windows

Well, they certainly LOOK the same (other than the vent window). But looks can be deceiving... I would check either with a Ford dealership parts counter or a salvage yard. Either of those should be able to cross-reference the basic door to see if you have a match.

    Lost keys

Awesome, that is truly good luck! Even though it is more expensive (but not by much), you should have the spare key made at a dealer. They will make an "original" key so yo will have two keys programmed into the truck's CSM module. Then, you can always have another spare made at most hardware...

    Lost keys

Well, the DIY alternative is to purchase new lock cylinders and program the new keys using FORScan. The easier, but more expensive approach would be to find a locksmith to cut two new keys for the existing locks and program those.

    96 Ranger Brake Fluid Leak

When they replaced the leaking brake cylinders, did they replace the shoes, or did they just spray them with BrakeKleen? If they didn't replace them, that could be the problem. Personally, I would always replace the shoes if brake fluid had gotten on them. If the shoes got soaked with brake...

    Front sheet metal

Gharry, 2001-2003 have different grilles and bumper. They will interchange, but you have to change the header panel (radiator support) as well. These year trucks also have two different style hoods. Either will fit your truck. Fenders are the same 1998-2011 as well as the doors.
