1998 ranger ext cab seat swap - HELP ME PLZ!!!!

He would probably sell them, but they are no longer 60/40 seats. He did the 60/40 to 40/40 mod on them and turned the driver seat into a bucket. It isn't difficult to do, but it cannot be reversed.

    Draft through vents while driving

In know there is one at the lower right side of the dash. Not sure where the others are (I believe there is more than one).

    Draft through vents while driving

Sounds like the servo that directs the air for the vents is not closing all the way. Those, BTW, are not blend doors as they don't blend hot and cold air to achieve the desired temp.

    98 doors question

The power doors will FIT... but without completing the power conversion, you won't have any way to raise and lower the windows.

    Airbag recall

Sorry, it is not a rumor. The recall started in 2014 and has not been barely 1/3 completed.

    Draft through vents while driving

There is only one blend door. It is located to the right of the radio and left of the glove box. Easy way to check if it is functioning correctly is to turn the blower on and change from heat to defrost to vent, etc. If the air blows ANYWHERE but where it should, then you have a problem...

    Hello from Denmark

Hello Villy and welcome to the forum! Start out by checking all the fuses and relays. If all checks out there, move on to the switches and see what you have... then you would have to pull the motors and test them if the switches prove out to be good. Process of elimination.

    Draft through vents while driving

I would be checking the blend door / actuator servo to ensure that is operating properly. If that checks out, I would be looking for a hole in the A/C housing under the hood.

1998 ranger ext cab seat swap - HELP ME PLZ!!!!

Hello Bob and welcome to the forum! 1 - If they were junk, then you did the right thing... unless you wanted to have them reupholstered. By your description, they were past that. 2 - This information is correct. 1996-2001 Explorers and Mountaineers are a direct, bolt-in fit with one...

    My name is Buck

Hello Buck, and welcome to the forum! Looks like you have a long history with Rangers! My father had a 1974 Courier. I don't remember much about it, but I know he really liked it.

    Seats

I'm sorry, I don't know much at all about the early 1990's Rangers. What I *DO* know is that Explorer seats will fit in 1993+ Extended cab trucks. Floor pans are different between regular and extended cabs. Since I'm not really much help, you should go HERE and post your question. I think...

    96 Ranger Brake Fluid Leak

We all do things occasionally that we regret or have to apologize for. I do it all the time; it's just part of my personality. There's a lot of hate in the world today. Building up a tolerance is necessary to survive.

    Pet and Animal Thread

Well, no two dogs are alike, but my dog turns her nose up to those. They would be great for her teeth, but she just isn't interested in them. I know that article was against giving dogs real bones to chew... we will only give her T-Bone steak bones. They last a LONG time and don't splinter.
