I have seen many people in upstate NY (where I used to live) that were sporting 2wd's. They just had a load of sandbags in the back and kept on keepin' on.

I personally really do not see how they work at all. My grandfather has always had them on his trucks and they really accomplish nothing in my eyes. I guess this is a prime example of "To each his own".

I think that anything less than adhesive used on that floor will be a waste of time and effort. Go to WallyWorld and pick up some rubber floor mats that are flat rubber on the bottom and they will not move around nearly as much. My neighbor has an '06 F150 XL and he has mats like these and...
