I finally figured it out today! It is either my dome light or third brake/cargo light. third brakelight hasnt worked ever for me..pulled the fuse and the new battery stayed charged overnight this time. WOOHOO! Truck gets legal next week, expect major whoring soon.

It's always been totally turned off. the older years have a knob you have to push in to get the key turned off all the way and out of the ignition, so im sure.

UPDATE: i've been fighting this battle for a while, at first i just replaced the battery, but the next day it was dead again. I checked fuses, and noticed that a fuse was blown, it was the "engine comp l.p." fuse. hoping that just replacing the fuse would do it, i went out and bought some fuses...

i cant wait to see how my truck does in the mud.. (:<

sounds good to me! i went out to try to use the 4x4 and i got stuck in grass, wtf. total waste of money. gotta go get the stick on vents from there, hopefully get more horsepower..
