The biggest reason was the larger mirror area. And I think they fit my truck well since I have the rectangle plow lights and rectangle reverse lights in the light bar. But honestly, I dont much care how my truck looks! lmao.....its just a winter beater!

You would probably be better off to look for a 97- year truck. It'd be alot easier to swap it over.
