    '99 4 Door Speaker Recommendations

I went OEM. I used Mustang Mach 500 co axial speakers in the front and high end Lincoln speakers in the back. Got em on fleabay. I have not bought aftermarket speakers in many many years, so I may be slightly outdated. I was impressed with the fact the OEM ones I chose had the rear of the...

For Sale: BUGGMAN's Black Friday Sale (ky)

I use those same grommets at work. They are "the right stuff". No comparison to rubber grommets.

Removed cluster to replace burned bulbs now issues with speedometer!

Pull the cluster and examine each bulb. Maybe one is shorted out somehow. Even on new bulbs this happens. It's easy for the wires on wedge bulbs to short out. Check the wires going to the cluster connectors. Maybe a wire or 2 pulled out of the connector.

Wipers and washer fluid on with headlights

I would check the connectors that you unplugged for corrosion. Also check the firewall plugs below the master cylinder and the ones at the bottom of the steering column. Those connectors and the multi function switch are the only places where the headlights and wipers are "connected" Unless it's...

    Mustang dome nothing works???

It's possible you accidentally screwed into the yellow wire going to the cargo lights when you reassembled it all. The screw would ground out and create a direct short that would blow the fuse. I would disconnect the cargo ground and see if it blows the fuse. If it does, pull the bulbs and see...

    Mustang dome nothing works???

I wasn't being a smart alec or anything. I often have to start at the beginning again on electric mods. One broken wire or bad socket can cause many headaches. The simple connect the wires to the battery and then wiggle the wires gives proof positive that the wires and sockets are good...

    Mustang dome nothing works???

Old and simple test. remove cargo/brake light harness. Connect ground wire to negative on battery. Then touch each of the other two power wires, one at a time to the positive terminal. One wire should light the brake and one should light the cargo lights. That will test the light fixture. If...

    Bizarre Electrical Issue

Try replacing the cables. Sometimes they corrode on the inside but look fine. How can a electrical short cause a problem to the heater core? The heater core just flows water.

    Heat / Coolant Issue

May be impeller on water pump. Ford had some issues with these. My 3.0 had an intake gasket leaking water on the left front as you look at engine. What does you oil look like? My first guess is water pump.

    Mustang dome nothing works???

Back to basics. Do you have access to a multimeter? Can you operate one? No offense intended. Check the continuity and resistance from each pin(in the bulb socket) to the pins on the connector. Black/blue is the correct hot wire from the dome switch. Maybe post a couple photos of the...

Here is the 04 dome wiring. I would tap into the BLK/LB wire.

    Mustang dome nothing works???

Did you check the cargo light by opening the door and by the switch? What year is the truck? I have schematics for every year up to 2009.

    turn signal repair

If it's the multi function switch, (I am pretty sure it is) you don't need to remove the wheel or airbag. You will need to remove the trim around the column. 3 screws, You can see the screw holes from the underside of the column. Phillips screws. Once the plastic trim is off you can see the...
