Coil springs

Was 92 the last year coil springs were used in the front ? I `m thinking of doing something more for off hiway ,trails and roads to replace my Jeep Cherokee . I don`t want to use my 02 Ranger it`s to nice.

Coil springs were used up till the ranger was last produced. But in 97, the suspension design changed. A jeep coil swap will only work on a 97-older ranger.

would springs for a 4.0 liter ranger give enough lift to level my truck out with the 3.0?
