honestly, till it feels tight lol.
ive always used to try and do the smart thing lately and torque things to where they should be. but after snapping 3 bolts by doing so, ive learnt to just do it till its tight, and aint going anywhere. with shock mounts, id go till the bushing slightly swells. not to far though or it will run the risk of being to tight and splitting and becoming useless.

however, if you wish to torque them, I cannot help you there.

I think I may be able to do this myself.....but before I begin are there any special tools needed to change the front shocks on a 1st gen truck? Is there anything I need to beware of while doing this? i.e. are the coil springs gonna pop out on me

I replaced the front brakes on my 04 Mach 1 and they still squeak. I have only had the car for a couple months. Is there any tricks to it? Help needed, they are driving me crazy.
